Completed plans call for the construction of a 20,225-square-foot, two-story above grade library, and for site work for a library. The New Grimes Public Library project includes construction of a new library at the intersection of James Street and Beaverbrooke Drive in the northeast section of Grimes Iowa. The library is approximately 22,000sf and consists of three levels (main floor, mezzanine and 2nd floor). The exterior skin is brick veneer with limestone accents and metal panels. The project includes a new parking lot with associated site improvements.
