Project Manager

Duties:

• Coordinate and manage multiple commercial construction projects of varying size from $200,000 to $35,000,000
• Communicate and coordinate effectively with architects, owners, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Create and manage project schedules, including material procurement
• Review shop drawings and submittals
• Create project budgets and ensure projects remain on budget
• Review, comprehend and interpret plans and specifications
• Write and negotiate contracts
• Process proposal requests and change orders
• Review and initiate monthly payment applications
• Oversee superintendents and Rochon staff to ensure project goals are met
• Train and help develop direct reports
• Provide insight and help develop corporate safety policies, including implementation 
• Travel to project sites
• Facilitate project meetings with owners, architects, subcontractors, and vendors
• Work fluently in project management software and programs

Qualifications:

• At least 10 years in commercial construction experience and at least 5 years of management level experience
• Can communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Successful estimating experience
• Strong commercial background with varying construction types and methods of delivery
• Stable work history
• Able to use computers, smart phones, tablets, and associated programs efficiently
• Ability to problem solve with solid judgement and independent thinking
