Duties will include assisting or solely performing the following functions:
- Coordinate administration of multiple commercial construction projects of varying size from $200,000 to $40,000,000
- Assist in estimating for potential projects
- Communicate and coordinate effectively with architects, owners, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Assist in material procurement
- Review shop drawings and submittals
- Work on project budgets and ensure projects remain on budget
- Review, comprehend and interpret plans and specifications
- Write contracts and change orders
- Process proposal requests
- Review and process monthly payment applications
- Assist superintendents and Project Managers in project oversight
- Travel to project sites
- Facilitate project meetings with owners, architects, subcontractors, and vendors
- Update plans and drawings
- Procure and prepare project closeout documents
Qualifications:
- 2 years construction experience, similar industries, and or equivalent education experience
- Can communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Stable work history
- Able to use computers, smart phones, tablets, and associated programs efficiently
- Ability to problem solve with solid judgement and independent thinking
