Site work for a mixed-use development in Waukee, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and water / sewer project. The general nature of the work is as follows:
For the portion of Work at Grant Ragan Elementary, 645 NE Dartmoor Dr., Waukee:
This portion includes the removal of approximately 2,300 SY of existing playground mulch, and rubber surfaces; the placement of approximately 20,760 SF of synthetic playground surfacing with rock base; and the placement of new subdrain.
And for the portion of the Work at Maple Grove Elementary, 1455 98thSt., West Des Moines:
This portion includes the removal of approximately 450 SY of existing playground mulch and rubber surfaces; the placement of approximately 4,100 SF of synthetic playground surfacing with rock base; the placement of new subdrain.
The sites will be available starting June 3, 2024 for commencement of work. The work at Maple Grove Elementary must be substantially complete on July 19, 2024, and the work at Grant Ragan must be substantially complete on August 2, 2024. Final completion of both portions shall be by September 27, 2024.
