Norwalk Public Works Storage Building Project

Site work and new construction of a pre-engineered storage facility in Norwalk, Iowa. Completed plans call for the construction of a pre-engineered storage facility; and for site work for a pre-engineered storage facility. The work includes all materials, equipment, transportation, and labor necessary to complete the storage building and site work. The proposed project includes a 50' x 200' pre-engineered wood building including pole foundations, slab on grade, wood building structure, interior partition wall, interior plywood and metal liner panel finishes, six (6) overhead doors, three (3) person doors, rough in for a 100 SF bathroom, 225 SF bulk water dispenser room, floor drainage with sand/oil interceptor, water piping, and natural gas piping, gas-fired unit heaters, ventilation, circulation fans, building power and lighting, and voice/data systems. Site work consists of approximately 400 SY of pavement removal, 360 CY of excavation, 1,375 SY of modified subbase, 305 LF of subdrain/roof drains, one (1) storm sewer outlet structure, 85 LF of 2" water service pipe, 85 LF of 4" solid wall PVC sanitary service pipe, 1,160 SY of 6-inch concrete pavement, 23 CY of cast-in-place concrete retaining wall, traffic control, erosion control, surface restoration, and other miscellaneous work.
