Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Ames, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and golf course. This project includes removal of the existing bridge, removal of pavement, installation of the storm sewer culvert, erosion stone flume, revetment, grading, placement of trail subbase material, top soiling, seeding, and all related stabilization and restoration work. Trail paving operations may commence on or after November 1, 2026, with the exact start date to be determined by Parks and Recreation. All work, including trail paving and surface restoration, shall be fully completed by April 1, 2027.
