Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Ankeny, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a fire / police facility; and for the construction of a 12,830-square-foot fire / police facility. A new, single story fire station of approximately 12,830 s.f. Work includes all civil, landscape, architectural, structural, and mechanical, electrical and technology systems. Building construction is concrete masonry bearing wall construction and exterior brick cavity construction at apparatus bay, and steel frame, structural metal studs and exterior brick cavity walls in the remaining areas. Exterior materials include calcium silicate masonry units and cast stone accents and banding, and glazed aluminum storefront and entrances. Roofs consist of metal joist/deck system and TPO roofing membrane over low slope roofs, and metal roofing and cold-formed steel roof trusses over the apparatus bay and lobby. The work shall be performed at 2320 NE Weigel Drive, Ankeny, Iowa, 50023.
