Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Colfax, Iowa. Completed plans call for the construction of a municipal facility; for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and municipal facility.
The project consists of the construction of a new pre-engineered metal building for Motor Vehicle Enforcement (MVE) Inspection building- Jasper County. All site work including grading, paving, drives, walks, seeding, and utility improvements. New 3,625 sq.ft. pre-engineered metal building with concrete masonry unit walls, metal panel walls and roofs, electrical, mechanical and plumbing. The building will be heated, and will be provided with a special inspection pit below semitrucks and trailers along the vehicles full length. The facility will also provide work stations and a restroom for MVE officers. Restrooms for public use are also part of the proposed design.
