Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Van Meter, Iowa. Completed plans call for the construction of a 3,625-square-foot pre-engineered storage facility; for site work for a pre-engineered storage facility; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; water / sewer project; and sidewalk / parking lot. The project consists of the construction of a new pre-engineered metal building for Motor Vehicle Enforcement (MVE) Inspection Building- Dallas County.
This shall include all site work including grading, paving, drives, walks, seeding, and utility improvements.
The structure is a new 3,625 sq.ft. pre-engineered metal building with concrete masonry unit walls, metal panel walls and roofs, electrical, mechanical and plumbing.
The building will be heated, and will be provided with a special inspection pit below semitrucks and trailers along the vehicles full length. The facility will also provide work stations and a restroom for MVE officers. Restrooms for public use are also part of the proposed design.
