Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Chariton, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project. This project in general includes work at the Chariton Middle School - Northwest Corner Structural Remediation and Pavement Replacement Project includes structural stabilization of some of the exterior masonry walls at the northwest corner of the middle school building, the full replacement of the pavement adjacent to the main entry, the full replacement of the bus-loop pavement, some replacement of adjacent paving at the driveway entry into the middle school parking lot, an additional drive into the existing parking lot and replacement of some adjacent and nearby sidewalk pavement near the main entry, parking lot entry, and the bus loop. The project also includes the installation of a below grade drainage system along the northwest and west side of the building that connects to an existing drainage system (installed in summer of 2024).
